Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Generation Aaya LLC (the “Company,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects your information in connection with the SafeSis mobile app for iOS (the “App” or “Services”). Privacy first. SafeSis shows public sex-offender registry information for areas in the United States on a map. Your location is only used to look up nearby public records. It is never sold, stored on our servers, or linked to you. There is no sign-up and no account profile stored on a server we operate. Saved places, preferences, and cached map data stay on your device.

Where required by law or platform rules, we ask for permission before optional processing (for example, location access to center the map on you, or notification permission for area alerts). You can decline or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.

What Counts as Personal Information

Personal Information means information about you that could identify you or that is associated with you. In SafeSis, this may include:

• Location: your device location, if you choose to share it, used to center the map and search nearby public records.
• Places you enter: addresses, cities, or ZIP codes you search, start and destination points for route checks, and places you save (for example, home, work, or campus).
• Onboarding answers: how you identify, what brings you to SafeSis, and which places matter most. These are stored on your device to personalize the App.
• Subscription data: purchase identifiers and entitlement status processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store payment card numbers.
• Communications: messages you send to support, including inaccuracy reports you choose to send.

How Location Is Used

• When you share your location or search a place, the App sends that area to our registry data provider (Offenders.io) and our mapping provider (Mapbox) directly from your device to return public records and map content.
• These requests are not tied to your name, email, or any account we hold. We do not run a server that receives or stores your location.
• We never sell your location or use it for advertising.

On-Device Storage

Saved places, onboarding answers, preferences, and cached search results are stored locally on your device. Registry results for areas you have searched are cached for up to 7 days so the App is fast and works offline. You can erase this data at any time with Settings → clear saved data or Settings → delete account, which permanently removes it from your device. Uninstalling the App also removes it.

Public Registry Information

The App displays information about individuals listed on official public government sex-offender registries, collected through Offenders.io. This information is already public. Each record shows its source registry, the date it was last updated, and a link to the official listing. If you believe a record is inaccurate, use the “report inaccuracy” button in the App or contact us. We may direct you to the official registry, which is responsible for the underlying record.

Notifications

If you enable area alerts (a SafeSis+ feature), any notifications are created on your device. We do not send push notifications or email based on your location or saved places. You can turn alerts off in the App or in your device's notification settings.

Third-Party Services (Subprocessors)

We use the following service providers to operate the App. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your Personal Information. We may disclose information only:

• to the service providers listed above, to operate the App;
• if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others;
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Data Security

Requests to our providers are made over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Data stored on your device is protected by your device's security features. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

On-device data stays until you clear it, delete your account in the App, or uninstall the App. Cached registry results expire after 7 days. Support emails are kept as long as needed to respond and for our legitimate business records.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA or CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your Personal Information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because most data stays on your device, you can exercise many of these rights directly in the App. For anything else, email [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

This Website

This website is a static marketing site. It does not use advertising cookies or ask for your location. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. See also our Terms of Use.
