Welcome to SafeSis

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the SafeSis mobile app for iOS and related services (the “App” or “Services”) provided by Generation Aaya LLC (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Important Notice

SafeSis is for general awareness only. It is not an official government resource, and it is never a substitute for law enforcement or emergency services.

In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Do not rely on the App to decide whether a place, route, or person is safe.

About the Information Shown

The App displays information from official public government sex-offender registries, collected through Offenders.io, covering records updated within the last 90 days. Registry information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate, and coverage varies by state. The absence of a record in an area does not mean the area is free of registered individuals or other risks. Always confirm details with the official registry linked on each record. You can report suspected inaccuracies using the “report inaccuracy” button.

The App covers the United States only. Searches outside the United States are not supported.

Information About Privacy Practices

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. In short: your location is only used to look up nearby public records, and it is never sold, stored on our servers, or linked to you.

Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use the App. Subscription purchases are intended for users 18 or older, or made with a parent or guardian's permission. You represent that you are legally capable of entering into these Terms.

Acceptable Use

The App is for personal awareness only. You agree not to use the Services for any of the following:

• harassing, threatening, stalking, intimidating, or harming any person listed in the App, or their family, neighbors, or property
• encouraging or committing vigilantism, discrimination, or any unlawful act against any person
• using information from the App to make decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
• scraping, bulk downloading, reselling, or republishing registry information from the App
• reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to bypass subscription or security features
• using the App in violation of any applicable law, including state laws on the use of registry information

Misuse of registry information may be a crime in your state. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.

Subscriptions, Payments, and Renewals

The free version includes the map with names and photos blurred and one saved place. SafeSis+ is an optional weekly or annual subscription that unlocks unblurred names and photos, search in any area, unlimited saved places, and route safety checks. Prices are shown in the App before purchase.

Billing is processed by the Apple App Store under Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings. Deleting the App or your in-app data does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

License to Services

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. The App is owned and operated by Generation Aaya LLC and its licensors.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services, including Offenders.io (registry data), Mapbox and OpenStreetMap contributors (maps, search, and directions), RevenueCat (subscription status), and Apple (app distribution and billing). Device Permissions

Some features need location or notification access. You can grant or revoke these permissions in your device settings at any time, though some features may not work without them.

Intellectual Property

The App's design, software, features, and branding are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws and are owned by Generation Aaya LLC or its licensors. Public registry records remain the property of their respective government sources.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that registry information, route results, or alerts are accurate, current, or complete, or that any place or route is safe.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Generation Aaya LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any harm arising from reliance on information shown in the App. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Services in the prior 12 months, or a nominal amount if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Generation Aaya LLC and its affiliates harmless from claims arising from your use or misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms or change, suspend, or discontinue the Services. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Carroll County, Georgia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
